                 Dr. Shivajirao Kadam,  Vice-Chancellor of the Bharati Vidyapeeth University has been appointed as the member of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Pharmacy Council of India is the high level council for the pharmaceutical industry.

Dr. Kadam was  also the Principal of the Poona College of Pharmacy and a senate member of the University of Pune. He has a lion’s share in opening the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Pune, making it the first and only university in the State and the sixth university in the country to have such a department.

Dr. Kadam has attended various international pharmaceutical conferences at Sweden, USA, Singapore and Bangkok. Till date, 175 of his research papers have been published in the national and international journals.
